Outside Sales Representative

Responsible for generating business to business sales with industrial manufacturers and distributors in the southeast US territory that includes portions of GA, FL, NC, SC, TN, and AL. Home office in Atlanta, GA preferred. Identify, initiate, cultivate, and close new business, while working to maintain and increase business with existing customers. 80% of time is spent in front of customers, with approximately 30 - 40% overnight stays.

Benefits

Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Short Term and Long Term Disability   
Employees are eligible to elect benefits after employed for 60 days – coverage begins the 1st day of the month following your 60 day anniversary.  

Medical Insurance – UMR
We have 5 medical insurance plans available through UMR, varying from traditional PPO plans (w/ $500 deductible) to Qualified High Deductible Plans (up to a $5000 deductible). Budnick pays the total premium for our Plan 5 Qualified High Deductible Plan. If you choose to enroll your family in coverage, you will be responsible for additional premiums taken through payroll deductions.

Health Savings Account – State Bank of Waterloo
If you select a Qualified High Deductible Medical Insurance Plan, you are eligible to contribute to a Health Savings Account on a pre-tax basis. Budnick matches $2 for every $1 the employee contributes up to $500/yr for an employee, $1000/yr for a family.  
    
Dental Insurance – Guardian
We have 2 dental insurance plans to pick from. The base plan has a $50.00 deductible per individual/$150 per family. The 2nd plan is a buy-up plan which offers Orthodontic treatment. Premiums are paid 100% by the employee.

Vision Insurance – Guardian
We have 2 vision insurance plans to pick from. The first plan is a base plan, and the second plan is a buy-up plan. The base plan is with Avesis Network and the buy-up plan is with VSP Network. Co-pays and allowances are available for exams, contact lenses & glasses. Premiums are paid 100% by the employee.

Life Insurance – Guardian
Benefit for employee:  $25,000 – premiums are paid 100% by Budnick. 
You have the option to buy up to an additional $500,000 in voluntary life insurance with up to $200,000 guarantee issue, plus the option to buy coverage for your dependents. Spouse: $50,000, Dependent children age 14 days to 26 years: $10,000.

Short Term/Long Term Disability – Guardian

  • Short Term Disability Plan pays you 60% of your weekly salary up to $750 per week if you suffer from a disabling accident or illness that is not work related. Benefits start after you have been unable to work for 14 days and continue for up to 11 weeks.  Premiums are paid 100% by Budnick.
  • Long Term Disability Plan pays you 60% of your current monthly salary if you suffer from a disabling accident or illness. The maximum monthly benefit is $7,500. Benefits start after you have been unable to work for 90 days and cover you until you reach your normal social security retirement age. Premiums are paid 100% by Budnick.

401(k) Plan – Administrator of plan: Principal – Full time employees who are over 21 years old are eligible to participate as soon as they start working and will be auto enrolled at 6% contribution. Budnick currently has a discretionary 25% match of the first 6% of employee contribution starting on Jan 1 or July 1st after the employee’s 1 year anniversary.

Paid Time Off – 

Extra time is not paid out if the employee leaves the company.

Holidays – Each employee receives 80 hours of Holiday pay each year.  Holiday dates vary dependent on how they fall during the year. (New hourly paid employees must be employed 90 days before they receive Holiday pay).

On-site Workout Equipment  A variety of on-site workout equipment is available to employees to use on their breaks and before or after work.
