Tapes vs. Rivets
Are there any tape products out there that can work as well as rivets?
There are many tapes that can offer the permanent bond strength you would find using rivets or spot welding. These tapes are often referred to as structural bonding tapes. A popular alternative is often one of 3M’s VHB tapes. VHB or similar tapes can also offer some benefits over mechanical fastening and glues, including increased productivity, improved product performance and enhanced aesthetics.
